You only need to format the vmu by the bios menu. But since there is no button mapping or emu menu to access the bios, you need to execute the dreamcast itself software reboot by pressing A+B+X+Y+START on the title screen of a game and it will open the bios, and from there access to the memory menu and delete all data from both vmu's. The file I have is called Dreamcast.zip and includes 7 files: DC - BIOS (All).bin DC - BIOS.bin DC - Flash (All).bin DC - Flash.bin DC - Utopia CD Loader V1.1.cdi DC - Utopia CD Loader V1.1.nrg DC - VMS BIOS (Full).bin You'll want DC - BIOS.bin (2MB) and DC - Flash.bin (128KB).

How to Install dc_bios.bin

  1. Download the file dc_bios.bin to your desktop.
  2. Extract dc_bios.bin to your computer. The best is to unzip it to the directory of the program that request dc_bios.bin .

In case it doesn't work, you will have to extract dc_bios.bin to your system directory.

  1. Make a backup copy of the original file.
